Record-Breaking Sale in Coconut Grove – La Brisa

Nelson Gonzalez, Senior Vice President at EWM Realty International successfully negotiated the sale of La Brisa, a historic estate in Coconut Grove. La Brisa’s expansive 6.9 acre bayfront setting originally belonged to Kirk Munroe who was among the first settlers in the area, and the estate has since gone through periods of renovation by subsequent owners. The $34.6 million transaction was completed on June 21, 2016. To date it is the highest sale ever in Coconut Grove history and one of Miami-Dade County’s top ten sales of all time. The purchaser, Ransom Everglades School, acquired the property for future use.
