With the sale of the combined property, 6360 North Bay Road and 6342 North Bay Road at $35.4 million, Nelson set a new record-breaking price for a single-family property in Miami Beach.
Year 2018 was another successful year resulting with a record-breaking sale of a $14.8-million penthouse at Apogee South Beach.
In 2017, Nelson was voted “Best Realtor” and his brokerage “Best Broker” by participants of a real estate study conducted by Bendixen & Amandi and the Miami Herald. That same year, Nelson closed on over $133 million worth of luxury real estate, including two brand-new modern mansions that closed with a selling price of over $20 million. One of these homes – 212W Dilido Drive – sold at $22 million and became a record-breaking sale for the Venetian Islands of Miami Beach – an exclusive residential neighborhood for single-family homes.
Year 2016, although challenging for the high-end market in Miami, Nelson sold over $125 million worth of luxury homes and condos and broke all records for Coconut Grove with the sale of La Brisa Estate, closing at $34.6 million. This was the only sale over $30 million for Miami Dade County in 2016.
In 2015, Nelson personally sold nearly $200-million worth of luxury real estate, including two waterfront mansions with a selling price of over $30 million. One of these mansions – 5800 North Bay Road – sold at $33 million and became a record-breaking sale for Miami Beach and North Bay Road, until it was surpassed in 2019 by Nelson. His other two mega-sales in 2015 were two sprawling waterfront estates on the private Golf Course island – Indian Creek Village, closing at $30 million and $28 million.
