Nelson Gonzalez Participates As Panelist On The Real Deal’s Annual Real Estate Showcase

On Thursday, The Moore Building hosted The Real Deal’s Annual Real Estate Showcase. This event was a proven success as over 4,000 real estate aficionado’s and top industry professionals gathered for an all day event. Three panel discussions provided information regarding some of the biggest issues affecting the South Florida real estate industry. Panelists included our very own Nelson Gonzalez. He discussed how affluent domestic buyers from New York and California are choosing Miami as a destination to purchase luxury estates. “They can spend $20 million on a house because they are making $30 million a year,” he said, referring to the favorable tax set up in South Florida. “The house practically pays for itself and they get to live in paradise.” Other panelists discussed the growing market of buyers in Miami, and the expected increase in trade when the expansion of the Panama Canal opens in the following year.
