Sited on Indian Creek Island, one of the most prestigious neighborhoods in the U.S., the 53,000-square foot lot with 133 feet of water frontage sold today for $14.4M.
The property sold in August of 2012 for $8.6 million. The owner listed the property for $30 million and had hopes to develop a home designed by Chad Oppenheim but decided to take the offer. The development would have featured courts, gardens, spa area, cabana, 100-foot pool a private dock and a 5-car garage. The new owner has plans to tear down the home and develop for personal use.
The property is considered to be one of the smaller lots on Indian Creek with a standard lot size of 80,000 square feet with 200 feet of water frontage.
