Rebuilding The Venetian Causeway – Closed For Construction

Miami Beach has been going through major construction in the past years in hopes of major improvements. Currently, 730 feet of the Venetian causeway is getting destroyed and shut down for repair.
There are 12 bridges that make up the causeway linking Miami near the old Miami Herald building to Miami Beach near Lincoln Road. Residents will have to use either MacArthur to the south or Julia Tuttle to the north to get to the mainland.
After construction is over the city of Miami Beach will be switching from C-Pass to Sun Pass for the Venetian Causeway toll. There are many other major construction sites that will slow down traffic in Miami Beach including Alton road Julia Tuttle.
