The former home of Colombian drug lord Pablo Escobar sold for $9.65 million this week to a Miami business owner.
Christian Berdouare, owner of the Chicken Kitchen restaurant chain, bought the 6,300-square-foot home and has plans to tear down the house.
The home was originally built in 1948 and was purchased in 1980 by Roger and Leslie Schindler for $762,500. The property features 4 bedrooms, 6 full baths and a 24,425 square foot lot. The new owner plans to demolish the home and develop a new house on the property.
