Former Major League Slugger Sammy Sosa Purchases Oceanfront Golden Beach Estate For $7.6 Million

Former major league slugger Sammy Sosa has purchased an oceanfront estate in the secluded enclave of Golden Beach.
The 7,273 square foot home, located on more than one-half acre at 667 Ocean Blvd is a two-story, 7 bedroom, 8 ½ bath estate and has 75 ft of direct oceanfront views.
Built in 1998, the property last sold for $6.4 million in 2002. The home was designed to maximize its oceanfront location, with ocean views throughout. Sosa, who is eighth on the all-time home run list with 609 round-trippers, is frequently spotted throughout Miami.
“Sammy is a big fan of Miami, and it’s wonderful that he has chosen to purchase a home here,” says Nelson. “This is one of the most beautiful homes in all of Golden Beach. I’ve no doubts he is truly going to enjoy it.”
